This is very sad, and it looks like King Vajiralongkorn may well be the last king, because if Dipangkorn becomes king under a military regent, Thais may come out to protest in force. The King thinks he’s above the law, until he’s not.

Actually I’ve always been fascinated by the Thai royal family since SiriKit’s time. Their pageantry can only matched by the Brits. They do promote Thai traditional culture very well. Their silk dresses are spectacular with sashes and orders. So I do hope the monarchy can survive. Only if they can abolish rolling on the floors like puppy dogs again. Also abolish les majeste and become a true defender of democracy.
The eldest princess has indeed been a high achiever and a good daughter to her mother. Her image has always been positive. Her slim figure shows how disciplined she has been. But I wonder why out of all the granddaughters only Ploypailin Jensen married. Do you know why? Also nude pictures Ploypailin were leaked out too. Honestly Sirikitiya Jensen’s image is quite positive, would love she becomes the next Queen but I know she cannot.
Thank you Andrew for this article. one different view I should share: I dont know if Vajralongkorn purposely lies to the public about Bhajarakityabah's death. As a father, and if he really loves her, he might want to keep her artificially alive bec in this way, his daughter is still here. I know I could be wrong Bec Vajiralongkorn seems to be cold hearted and there might be other reasons that he does not want to announced her Brain death
